Weekend Re-Cap

We had a busy weekend. It started on Friday night at the District, which is outdoor shopping with parks and a carousel. They play movies outside under the stars on Friday & Saturday. So we went and watched Curious George. Then Carter got to go on the carousel which he loves, and then we went on a trolley which took us to the other side were there is more stores and music. On Saturday we went to a car show and it had to have been over 100 degrees! I wanted to see the cars but walking around in the heat is not really my idea of fun! Why don't they do these events in cooler weather!? So we took some pictures, which only Carter was in one because it was too hot, had a delicious funnel cake and left. We then headed to Town Square which is another cute outdoor shopping with a playground and water coming up from the ground. It was a lot of fun in the hot Las Vegas sun even Carter fell asleep in the car on the way home which NEVER happens! So here are just a couple of pictures, I guess we were having too much fun to take more.

6 Years.... Holy Cow!!

Where does the time go!? On Saturday the 6th it was our 6 year anniversary! Altogether though we have been together for 7 1/2 years. That is so crazy to me. We just went to the Melting Pot because we have never been, and then a quick trip to Old Navy. Our neighbors who have a one year old little boy were kind enough to watch Carter. We had so much fun, just the two of us. That doesn't come around often because we are not by any family. We forgot our camera so here are a few pictures from the happiest day of our lives! I love you so much honey, happy anniversary!

The BIG 3-0!

This stud is 30 today!! I hope he doesn't mind these pictures. They are so classic Dan-O! We love you so much and are so thankful for everything you do for us. We hope you had a good day despite the fact you had to work and then go to school. I know you are kind of sad about turning 30 but it's the new 20! :)

Happy Birthday Mr. Carter!

I cant believe my baby is 2 today! Where did the time go!? Her are just a few pictures from his "first" birthday. This kid is so challenging but we love him so much, we wouldn't have it any other way. We had his party over the weekend so those pictures are to come. I just wanted to go back in time and remember the day that changed our lives! We love you Mr. Binks!!

Happy Birthday To Me!

If you know me then you know I'm not modest about telling the world its my birthday! Besides if I don't toot my own horn who's going to!? :) August is the Perham family birthday month. I'm first, then Mr. Carter on the 18th, and Dan on the 25th. So there will be a post for all of our b-days. The picture above was on my 25th b-day 2 years ago when I was prego. Yep that's right I'm 27! Tonight we will probably just go to Red Robin because they give you a free burger for your birthday. Then maybe to Cold Stone because they give you a free ice cream, which makes my day! I saw on another persons blog that they told friends to leave a memory of them in the comment section. So on this special day feel free to leave a memory of me that you might have.

Mt. Charleston

A couple of weeks ago we went up to Mt. Charleston. It is about an hour away and so pretty. You would never know you were in Vegas! It is 30 degrees cooler so it was really nice to get away from the heat. We just looked around, took some pictures, and then ate dinner at the lodge. Carter was such a pill while we were eating, good thing the lodge was crappy! Next time maybe we will go in the winter and rent a cabin and take a sleigh ride!
