Arrrrrr Matey!

We threw an early birthday party for Mr. Carter in St. George. Since most of my family was there we thought it was a perfect time. As you can probably tell it was a pirate party and we did it at my aunt's house again. I can't believe he will be 3 on the 18th!! Why does time go by so much faster when your older!?

July 24th

We just got back from being in St. George for awhile, so there are a lot of posts to come. One of the first things we did was go to the park for the 24th. It is Pioneer Day in Utah so they had a parade, games, food, music, & races. Very similar to the 4th, so these pictures will look a lot alike. It was so HOT but I had fun because Carter did. The things you do for your kids! We also had a early pirate party for Carter's 3rd birthday, lots of swimming, & family fun.

We did this a couple of times. In the beginning they were giving away cheap stuff & then at the end they were handing out big stuffed animals. Some were so cute but we got stuck with Rudolph!

4th of July

We went to St. George for the 4th, as usual to spend it with my parents. We had a lot of fun swimming, eating, & playing! My aunt's grandsons were in town from Salt Lake so that was fun for Carter to play with them. For the 4th we went to a park just down the street from my parent's house. They had food, games, a cow train, face painting, & an auction. Then we went swimming at my aunt's house, then did some fireworks with 5 little boys! We had a lot of fun & thanks again mom & dad for everything!

Carter's First Bike

A month or two ago Carter & Dan went to Goodwill to find a little tricycle & this is what they came back with! A cute little blue Schwinn bike for $10! I guess Carter wanted to ride on it in the store & asked is dad to buy it for him! He is pretty good on it but with it getting really hot here he doesn't get to ride it much. So here are just a few pictures of Carter & his bike. I have video but it's not on the computer yet so maybe later.

Easter 2009

We had a fun Easter. A week before Easter on Friday night we went to the mall to see the Easter Bunny. Saturday we went to Town Square where they were having a huge Easter egg hunt & we forgot our camera. It was kind of lame because the eggs were empty then you had to go stand in line to get a handful of candy. I hope we have a backyard by next year so we can do our own hunt. Then that night we dyed eggs & Carter just liked to put them in the water. On Easter since my parents were out of town we went over to out neighbors house & and had dinner & another egg hunt. We had a good time and Carter loved playing with his friends! Hopefully we will get a family pic next time.
