It's that time again. August is a busy month for us, it's all 3 of our birthdays. First up my birthday, we went to dinner then the mall, got myself some new shoes, necklace, & some See's candy! This is the only picture I got, my monkey & me.

Carter's birthday is next. On his actual birthday we took him to Panda Express, because he loves it! Then we went to Target to buy a toy with the money he got from family. That Saturday was his circus party.

Last but not least was Dan's birthday, no pics. We went to his favorite restaurant with my parents, got a little more See's candy, & saw Shrek the Third. It was a fun month now onto our anniversary next month & baby girl in October!

Four years ago today this little character was born! I can't believe he is four already & going to be a very good big brother in a couple of months. Carter I'm so happy you choose me to be your mommy. You make me laugh everyday & you are so sweet! I love you more than words can express!!

That stands for white trash week! My whole immediate family got together at my mom & dad's house in St. George Utah. My brother Grant & his boys flew into Vegas from Texas, my sister, her boyfriend, my other brother Scott & his family drove up from California. We all met at the Vegas airport & caravaned up there. We arrived to water balloons being tossed at us by my dad & other brother Courtney! We all didn't think it was that funny. Once we got over it the kids all put their suits on & had fun outside. The whole week was so fun! We did lots of swimming, talking, playing games, breaking up fights, & eating. Can't wait till next year!

There is a brand new recreation center up the street from my parents. The best part is the lazy river.

minute to win it

Awhile ago we took Carter to a primary activity called minute to win it, they got the idea from a game show with that same title. He had a blast after he warmed up.

First up, fanning a plastic egg into a square. He didn't want to do this at first but once he did he kept asking if it was his turn.

Next up, trying to catch a gummy worm with a wet pretzel.

Then they strapped tissue boxes to their bums & put 3 ping pong balls in them. The kids had to shake their bums & jump around to get them out. The best game!Hey what's in there!?

A month or so ago Dan took Carter to his first father & sons camping trip. It was a really last minute decision to go since Dan didn't have any camping gear. I guess I should get him some stuff for his birthday or Christmas since they love to camp, not so much me! I didn't think Carter was old enough but I guess their were younger kids there. They had a lot of fun!

A few weeks ago we drove up to Salt Lake (in one car) with my parents. We went for my nephew's 5th birthday. It was a short weekend trip but we had a lot of fun. Thanks to my brother for getting us a hotel room & thanks to Jar & Deesha for having us over for dinner.
