A Little Late

So this is my post from the 4th of July week. I'm behind in blogging so I need to catch up. Dan's other sister Sarah and her boyfriend Steve came to visit for a day from Wisconsin. Then they rented a car and drove down to Orange County. It was so good to see them and we had fun in that short time. On the 3rd we drove up to Sandy Utah for the weekend with my parents to see my brother, his wife Leyla, and there boys, Maddox & Griffin. That was a short trip also but we had a lot of fun too. We went swimming, did fireworks, went out to eat, and my favorite part, went to Ikea. They really need to open one here in Vegas! So here our some pictures from our fun week.

Family in town

A few weeks ago Dan's sister Sam came to visit from Wisconsin. She stayed with us for a couple of days then we drove to Baker where Dan's dad, Bill, meet us from Victorville and took her to his house for a week and a half. We had some lunch at Bob's Big Boy then went our separate ways. When they were done at Bill's house Sam & Bill came back up to our house for a few more days. We had so much fun!! We went to the pool, the Hoover Dam, a Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat, and of course the Strip! Thanks for visiting Sam & Bill, hope to see you again soon.

New do

So I was inspired by my sister-in-law to cut Carter's hair. Last month my two nephews got the buzz cut. I thought I would never do it to Carter but then I was thinking how easy it would be. Carter is a pain when it comes to brushing his hair. He had a fauxhawk and would always mess it up! Why cant this kid just let me do his hair and leave it alone!? Anyways he got the buzz and now its just wash and dry!

Circus Circus

A couple of weekends ago we went to Circus Circus. We thought it would be fun for Carter and there are a few kid rides. Well we walked in and he did not like it. He would say NO to every ride we showed him. I thought, I didn't come here for nothing, so I made him go on the Ferris wheel. He was wanting his Dada while we were in line but then we got on and he was fine. After that we decided to leave and check out Fremont street. What a bad mistake, nothing but drunk white trash. Sorry for the harshness. If ever in Vegas that's an experience you might want to pass up!

I can't wait for this show to start! Only 4 more days.
And this is what we will be watching it on! Our new 52 inch Sharp LCD. Thanks Uncle Sam, now we will really enjoy our favorite show!

A couple of weeks ago we went to Lied's Discovery Museum. I couldn't believe we had to pay $7 for a one year old! Anyways Carter had fun because he got to run free. I hope we can find more kid friendly places to go to. Sorry for the picture overload.
