The BIG 3-0!

This stud is 30 today!! I hope he doesn't mind these pictures. They are so classic Dan-O! We love you so much and are so thankful for everything you do for us. We hope you had a good day despite the fact you had to work and then go to school. I know you are kind of sad about turning 30 but it's the new 20! :)

Happy Birthday Mr. Carter!

I cant believe my baby is 2 today! Where did the time go!? Her are just a few pictures from his "first" birthday. This kid is so challenging but we love him so much, we wouldn't have it any other way. We had his party over the weekend so those pictures are to come. I just wanted to go back in time and remember the day that changed our lives! We love you Mr. Binks!!

Happy Birthday To Me!

If you know me then you know I'm not modest about telling the world its my birthday! Besides if I don't toot my own horn who's going to!? :) August is the Perham family birthday month. I'm first, then Mr. Carter on the 18th, and Dan on the 25th. So there will be a post for all of our b-days. The picture above was on my 25th b-day 2 years ago when I was prego. Yep that's right I'm 27! Tonight we will probably just go to Red Robin because they give you a free burger for your birthday. Then maybe to Cold Stone because they give you a free ice cream, which makes my day! I saw on another persons blog that they told friends to leave a memory of them in the comment section. So on this special day feel free to leave a memory of me that you might have.

Mt. Charleston

A couple of weeks ago we went up to Mt. Charleston. It is about an hour away and so pretty. You would never know you were in Vegas! It is 30 degrees cooler so it was really nice to get away from the heat. We just looked around, took some pictures, and then ate dinner at the lodge. Carter was such a pill while we were eating, good thing the lodge was crappy! Next time maybe we will go in the winter and rent a cabin and take a sleigh ride!

A Little Late

So this is my post from the 4th of July week. I'm behind in blogging so I need to catch up. Dan's other sister Sarah and her boyfriend Steve came to visit for a day from Wisconsin. Then they rented a car and drove down to Orange County. It was so good to see them and we had fun in that short time. On the 3rd we drove up to Sandy Utah for the weekend with my parents to see my brother, his wife Leyla, and there boys, Maddox & Griffin. That was a short trip also but we had a lot of fun too. We went swimming, did fireworks, went out to eat, and my favorite part, went to Ikea. They really need to open one here in Vegas! So here our some pictures from our fun week.

Family in town

A few weeks ago Dan's sister Sam came to visit from Wisconsin. She stayed with us for a couple of days then we drove to Baker where Dan's dad, Bill, meet us from Victorville and took her to his house for a week and a half. We had some lunch at Bob's Big Boy then went our separate ways. When they were done at Bill's house Sam & Bill came back up to our house for a few more days. We had so much fun!! We went to the pool, the Hoover Dam, a Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat, and of course the Strip! Thanks for visiting Sam & Bill, hope to see you again soon.
