Good Times

We had such a blast with everyone! The bummer was that OUR kid was the terror this time & not my nephews! I had way to many pictures so that's why I made the slide show. Don't worry family I will send all the pictures to you through Kodak. We love & miss everyone and can't wait till next time!

Nursemaid's Elbow

Don't know what that is!? Yeah me either until 2 nights ago. We were walking out of Carl's Jr. and Dan was holding Carter's hand when he fell to the ground because he didn't want to go in his car seat! So Dan pulled him up by his left wrist and pulled the elbow out of the socket. Carter started crying really bad so we knew something was really wrong, not just a boo boo. We then went to Target and he just sat in the cart and didn't move the arm. We didn't know if we should go to the ER or not so we went home. We tried to put his pajamas on and change his diaper and he screamed bloody murder! So then we went to the ER and luckily didn't have to wait for hours to be seen. The doctor checked him out and said he had nursemaid's elbow and it can happen from swinging a kid by his arms, or pulling his arm. It doesn't happen to children after they are 5 and is most common in 1-3 year olds. So Carter sat on my lap and the doctor put the elbow back in the socket and he cried so hard! :( Then everything was all good and we had our little terror back. Sorry if this was boring but I wanted to type it out since this is kind of a journal. Someone reading this probably learned something new!

Snow in Vegas!?

Yep that's right, snow in Vegas! And here is what it looked like. We had a little bit 2 years ago when we first moved here but this was a lot more! It snowed almost the whole day and I had a blast sitting on my couch looking out the window. When daddy went to a doctor's appointment Carter & I went outside to play. And yes he has no gloves on, we are not equipped for this weather! By the way sorry for all the name changes for our blog. I'll leave it at this because I don't think its very good to use your last name on here.

Out of Office!

Carter & I are off to Utah for Christmas, Dan is meeting up with us on Wednesday. So I will not be blogging until we come back on the 28th. Just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!!

Thanksgiving

We went to my parents house in St. George for Thanksgiving & my brother flew in from Texas. We ate at my aunts house and had some yummy ham & prime rib. It was a very quiet trip this time with only one grand kid there. In three weeks for Christmas it will be a different story with all of my siblings there & 4 more kids! These are the only pictures I got from the weekend. There are none of the whole family. I hope I do better for Christmas. We had a lot of fun & now I need to decorate the house before Christmas comes! Where has the time gone!?

Aviation Nation

A couple of weeks ago Dan & Carter went to Aviation Nation at Nellis Air Force Base. I was too sick to go, there is always next year! They had a lot of fun and were gone for 6 hours. Here are a few pictures from their little adventure.
