The Park

Dan is usually home from work by 2:30 or before, so the other day we went to a cute park in Henderson. The weather was so nice! We are ready for it to be cold.

Before this trip every time we went to a park Carter would NEVER go down the slides! All of a sudden at this park he goes down all of them without us even asking. For a kid to never go down slides & then to go on this BIG one below is funny. I love how kids are always changing & doing new things.

7 years as mr. & mrs.

September 6th was our 7 year anniversary & we were in St. George since it was Labor Day weekend. We had a lot of fun being by ourselves. I would just like to say that I love you Dan & I'm so thankful for all that you do for our family!

Birthday's

All of our birthday's were in August so I'm going to blog about them. I only have pictures from Dan's big day. Mine was first & the day started off with a scavenger hunt that led me to a cute pair of sandals I wanted!! Then at night our neighbors watched Carter so Dan & I went to Red Robin & a movie. It was a great day! For Carter's day we didn't do too much, just went to the water park since he already had a party in Utah. Dan had to work on his day but at night we went to Red Robin again because they give you a free burger, and let's face it people we are in a recession, plus Dan loves the Robin! After that Cold Stone because who would pass up free ice cream for your birthday. It was a fun month & we want to thank everyone for the well wishes, cards, & phone calls!

We threw an early birthday party for Mr. Carter in St. George. Since most of my family was there we thought it was a perfect time. As you can probably tell it was a pirate party and we did it at my aunt's house again. I can't believe he will be 3 on the 18th!! Why does time go by so much faster when your older!?

July 24th

We just got back from being in St. George for awhile, so there are a lot of posts to come. One of the first things we did was go to the park for the 24th. It is Pioneer Day in Utah so they had a parade, games, food, music, & races. Very similar to the 4th, so these pictures will look a lot alike. It was so HOT but I had fun because Carter did. The things you do for your kids! We also had a early pirate party for Carter's 3rd birthday, lots of swimming, & family fun.

We did this a couple of times. In the beginning they were giving away cheap stuff & then at the end they were handing out big stuffed animals. Some were so cute but we got stuck with Rudolph!

4th of July

We went to St. George for the 4th, as usual to spend it with my parents. We had a lot of fun swimming, eating, & playing! My aunt's grandsons were in town from Salt Lake so that was fun for Carter to play with them. For the 4th we went to a park just down the street from my parent's house. They had food, games, a cow train, face painting, & an auction. Then we went swimming at my aunt's house, then did some fireworks with 5 little boys! We had a lot of fun & thanks again mom & dad for everything!
