touch a truck

Last Saturday while Scarlet & I went to a baby shower Dan took Carter to Touch a Truck. He saw an ad in the paper & thought it would be fun for him. They had all sorts of trucks, cranes, mighty machines & other cool things. Pretty much he was in Heaven with all things that little boys love! Please excuse the outfit & hair that wasn't done, I didn't get him ready & I guess he was having so much fun that's why he's making all sorts of crazy faces! :-)

I know everyone says this but times really does fly!

4 months

This little cutie is 4 months old! We went to the doctor & here are her stats...

Weight: 14 lbs. 10 oz. (70% percentile)

Height: 24 3/4 (70% percentile)

Head Circumference: 41 cm (50th percentile)

Things to remember:
Starting to grab at things but can't hold them for too long
Has 2 teeth
Still gets up 1-2 times a night
Started sucking her thumb, when she can find it
Loves to sit in this little seat on the counter & watch her mommy clean
As of right now the only person that can get her to giggle is her brother
Drinks 4-5 oz. every 2-3 hours.

We love this little girl & couldn't wait for her to get bigger! Now you can slow down Miss Scarlet, o.k.?!

I never blogged about her 2 month stats. Since this is my journal I'm going to now. She weighed 10 lbs. 10 oz. & was 21 1/2 inches.

a name & a blessing

Dan blessed Scarlet at church on Sunday February 6th. Yep on Super Bowl Sunday, I guess just another reason to celebrate. It was a great day, some babies sleep or cry while being blessed but she was happy & talking. We were so glad my parents, sister, & father-in-law could come. Thanks again for everything guys!

christmas & new year's

Christmas Eve we went out to dinner (no pictures) then put our jammie's on & went to the condo to play minute to win it! My brother Scott & his wife Caren set it all up & everyone had a blast! Thanks guys!

It snowed twice when we were there. Here is our car covered, & yes I'm ONE of THOSE people with a wreath on my car!

On our last day while we were packing my dad took Carter for a walk. Here's Carter throwing a snowball at his Papa. Looks like they had fun.
